• Bill Wyman: Bass guitar. Wyman, a founding member, played bass for almost 30 years before leaving the band in 1993. His contributions laid the groundwork for the band's early successes.

• Ian Stewart: Piano (1962-1985). Stewart, often referred to as the band's sixth member, played piano on numerous recordings and tours. Although not always officially credited, his contributions were essential. He passed away in 1985.
